After the Life  2012

This series is an intimate attempt at depicting my grandmother's departure from this world. Though her demise has been an irreplaceable loss to me personally, the drawings show 'Death' as a blessing and as if it has come down to take her away to relieve her from all the pain and suffering she had endured for a long time. This series has helped me deal with this heart-wrenching loss.
