Vanishing Magnificence 2012

Animals and children are being trapped in the crossfire between the rest of humanity’s greed and apathy. They are symbolic and reminiscent of the only innocence that remains among living beings, an innocence that is fast fading. Only with their safety and preservation can this precious quality be protected.

 

What needs to be brought to this world is that the hostile takeover of nature has to stop, because the purity of childhood is at stake. For their sanity and wonder and for us not to tell them, “This is where the wild things lived.” 

I wish, with my works, to affect the part of every individual that responds to this truth.
